As a Communications Specialist, you will work as part of the Worldwide Print Communications team to develop and amplify HP Print’s narrative and product innovations with a focus on B2B audiences. This role requires storytelling and product communications experience in media strategy, content development and collaboration. The Communications Specialist must be an excellent writer, compelling storyteller and possess strong social and digital skills while meeting tight deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will be biased toward action, inspire teammates to perform at a high level, and consistently turn strategy into execution to achieve strong results. Responsibilities Collaborates across teams to drive integrated communications programs with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, the Office Print Business Unit and support functions. Creates press materials, story pitches, and authored content that connects themes to proactive and reactive media, analyst, social and influencer campaigns. Develops high-impact, creative and scalable content in support of editorial strategy across earned, owned and social platforms. Develops and executes communications plans and materials in support of strategic business news and launch activities. Supports media, analyst, influencer relations with research, media pitches, social copy, briefing prep materials and produces coverage reports. Supports robust product reviews program working with press and influencers. Education & Experience BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration. 5+ years of work experience in communications, journalism, or marketing. Both agency and in-house experience preferred. Knowledge & Skills Experienced in product communications within a B2B or enterprise setting Understands the evolving media landscape and newsworthy storytelling Proven track record of influencing and engaging with senior level executives to advance a communications agenda Experience crafting social and digital content, thought leadership content and content strategy Superior storytelling, writing and editing skills; strong oral communications skills and ability to convey complex ideas. Superior organization and program management skills within fast-paced and demanding environment. A relentless focus on the details and a high level of diplomacy. Ability to link communications plans and activities to business objectives and results. Flexible, nimble, and able to thrive within a growing and evolving organization Proficient in Microsoft (PPT, Word, Excel) & Collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom) Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $79,150.00 -- $121,900.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity.
