NVIDIA's Cloud data centers host ground-breaking products across high-performance computing to machine learning applications for autonomous vehicles and healthcare. At the heart of our data centers is the ability to engineer mechanical and electrical designs in close coupling to NVIDIA's industry-leading GPU and DGX products. We are seeking a Data Center intern to craft, implement and optimize immersion-based cooling solutions.What you'll be doing:Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and deploy single/two phase immersion cooling (IC) systems at data center scale.Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for the adoption of immersion cooling technologies in DCs.Analyze, develop, and implement strategies to optimize cooling system performance and efficiencies.,Build detailed and thorough test plans aligned with the system design, continuously seeking improvements and new tools for testing.Develop and define appropriate instrumentation and processes to enable continuous improvement, learning, and growth within the team.Prepare and deliver technical presentations at reviews and conferences.Stay on top of industry trends and standard processes to advise and improvedesign strategies.What we need to see: Pursuing a Master or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong thermal and optimization background.Shown experience in crafting and implementing Single- and Two-Phase IC systems for data centers.Strong understanding of thermal management principles and fluid dynamics.Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in data center cooling.Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.Ways to stand out from the crowd: Data analysis skills to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.Strong communication and partnership skills.Persistently drive tasks and projects to successful completionEagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
