Technical Writer

We are looking for a US-based individual with either a background in writing (with an interest in learning technology) or technology (with strong writing skills). Our team is at the intersection of new technology and user experience. Writers learn the technologies they describe in the user guides.What you'll be doing:Partnering with development and operations teams to document processes, workflows and tool guides.Learning the details of our document hierarchy and improve existing document structure in Confluence.Using information architecture principles to organize documentation and increase findability.  Watching less formal collaboration sources (Slack, TEAMS, etc) and help users codify and improve documentation based on those conversations.Working with subject matter experts to determine needed labels/tags, implement and observe tag usage. Working with Confluence templates to standardize content.What we need to see:Clear written communication skillsBachelors Degree (or equivalent experience)3+ years of experienceAbility to work across multiple technical and non-technical teamsStrong desire to learn unfamiliar tools and technologiesStrong SME (Subject Matter Expert) interviewing skillsAbility to understand and write for different audiencesExperience in either writing or technologyWays to stand out from the crowd:Previous technical writing experienceFamiliar with ConfluenceFamiliar with collaboration workflows (generally)Experience applying Information Architecture conceptsNVIDIA is the leader in AI, machine learning and datacenter acceleration. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
