Your mission will center on defining and implementing revenue growth strategies specifically tailored to NVIDIA AI software on VMware environments. This highly visible role will involve close collaboration with NVIDIA's cross-functional leadership and VMware sales leadership to develop and implement pipeline and revenue growth plans for a joint NVIDIA-VMware offering. The role requires outstanding executive and sales leadership skills and a confirmed ability to drive execution and sales results. Strong domain expertise in the enterprise software sales with emphasis on VMware vSphere and VCF is critical. As a senior sales leader, we expect to see demonstrated experience in fostering sales growth, collaborating with lighthouse customers to drive initial account success, and achieving significant sales and account volume. What you’ll be doing:Working closely with VMware, GSIs and other partners to drive revenue for jointly-developed software products through VMware sales channels.Provide comprehensive cross-functional GTM leadership to a wide range of functions, spanning sales teams, product management and product marketing, corporate marketing, sales operations, pricing and finance.Define and facilitate GTM sales strategies and plans, sales enablement efforts, sales support needs, pricing and contract matters, joint marketing efforts, and pipeline, forecast and revenue reporting.Marshal and coordinate the appropriate use of company resources as needed to ensure progress and success against sales objectives.Serve as the representative of the assigned business segment, providing insights into sales process, customer adoption, forecasts, issues and trends to the CEO and top executives of the company.Help the company quickly learn about the market for the joint solution through detailed customer insight and light house customer engagements.Empower sales and partners with comprehensive knowledge of the joint solution, including its value proposition and competitive positioning against alternative solutions. Cultivate collaboration with the product marketing team to develop effective sales tools that enable successful selling and engagement.Maintain a clear and effective line of communication amongst relevant team members to ensure alignment and efficient execution of plans.Drive periodic business reviews with VMware to ensure success and revenue growth of the joint solution.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree from a leading University or equivalent experience12+ years of enterprise software sales or business development experience with consistent track record running/leading a direct or channel sales organization/function.Strong customer/partner relationship management skills.Solid understanding of the vSphere/VCF products and market.Demonstrated experience growing product line revenue at scaleConfirmed ability to work effectively in highly matrixed organization and Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex partnershipsDemonstrated expertise in pricing strategies, channel economics, and negotiation tactics.Ability to enable and inspire a virtual team of sales managersAbility to travel as neededWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience working with VMware sales teams in a similar capacityTrack record of launching and growing sales of a jointly-developed product through a partner/channel sales teamFoundation knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, GPU accelerated computing and NVIDIA software productsWorking knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC)Master’s degree and/or MBA or equivalent experience is desirableNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers! Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
