We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our Statistical team in Chennai/Hyderabad. This is an amazing opportunity to work on ProQuest Statistical Insight (PQSI) product. The team consists of 11 members reporting to the Content Manager. We have great skill sets in Ingesting / abstracting / editing Statistical content from US government sources / sources from other governments of the world. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in ETL / Ingestion automation experience / experience in six-sigma quality tools / experience in data analysis applications. About YouMust have a bachelor’s degree in computer science (preferably)/ library science degrees with computer literacy.Should have more than 4 years' experience in ETLShould have more than 4 years' experience in data Ingestion automation. It would be great if you also had . . . Working knowledge in data analysis/visualization/reporting applications e.g., Excel, VBA, SQL, Power BI, etc.Blackbelt in 6-SigmaExperience in MIS reporting. What will you be doing in this role?Developing mappings and transformations to add content to products, migrate content sources to new manufacturing methods, and perform break/fix analysis and repair using third-party or internal applications.Help in developing ideas and create web-harvesting or transformation services, cross-referencing data structure with DAF (Digital Acquisition Framework) capabilities of system/tools and product requirements.Identify quality issues in processes / steps and identify steps to clear them.Contribute to cross-functional, non-standard projects and initiatives within the Statistical Team Content Management Workflows.Evaluate new content sources to recommend ingestion pathways. About the Team The Statistical team in India is involved in creating abstracts for ProQuest Statistical Insight (PQSI) product. The India team is split into Statistical Editorial and Statistical Ingestion teams — Editorial team is involved in the creation of abstracts for PQSI customers, and the ingestion team is involved in procuring the content for abstraction for the Editorial team. The Statistical team has Content Editors (Editorial team) with Copy Editing / summarizing / Content writing / abstracting experience, and few Content Ingestion Analysts (Ingestion team) with data ingestion and transformation experience.
