Senior Product Owner

Clarivate is looking for a Product Owner for their Inprotech software product. Inprotech is an Enterprise Intellectual Property Management System used by large Patent Attorney and Legal Firms. This role will be working in a team with 3 other Product Owners reporting to the Inprotech Product Manager.This is an amazing opportunity to work with Customers based in Europe, North America and Asia/Pacific and development staff based in Australia and India.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  Good team collaboration and communication skills.Good documentation skills to describe issues, user journeys, use cases, and customer change requests.Participate and present webinars around software areas this role may have helped to develop or is researching for future development or uplifting.Business Analysis skillsIt would be great if you have . . .  Good understanding of IP industry, particularly IP teams in Law FirmsBasic SQL query skills and able to browse a SQL database structure.Previously worked in Agile Software Development environment.Worked on financial systems and integrated with 3rd party systems.Project Management skills.What will you be doing in this role? The research and gathering of requirements for new software modules, or the uplift of existing ones. This may include client meetings remotely, on-site at the client, or in Clarivate offices.Writing user stories and acceptance criteria.Testing of various areas of the product, particular the areas that the product owner is responsible for.Help triaging the software support queue.Product Owners on a roster basis, monitor support issues that have been escalated to the Inprotech Development Group and provide second level support. Some of these issues are functional questions that the product owner will respond to, or the ticket may be escalated to Technology staff for further investigation.About the Team   Working with a team based in different time zones including Sydney, India and Europe. The immediate team has 5 members and is part of a larger Inprotech Development team with 30+ staff members. Inprotech is mostly a web-based product, with some legacy components that still need to be migrated to the web. Each product owner works closely with one of the development scrum teams. One team is based in Sydney and three teams are based in India.Hours of Work  This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours a week. Candidates must be willing to participate remotely in regular meetings after normal business hours due to customers and other staff members being in different time zones.
