As the Manager of Data Engineering & MLOps, you will have the chance to build and lead a dynamic team of data engineers and MLOps experts. Together, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the SDK & technical stacks. This includes making strategic decisions related to our tech stack, evaluating and adopting the latest tools, frameworks, and technologies to keep our data infrastructure scalable, reliable, and future-proof. Your work will have a direct impact on our organization's success as you leverage our vast internal data to create innovative data products that support marketing and merchandising efforts. By driving data-driven personalization and insights, you will enhance customer experiences and contribute to business growth. What You Get To Do Every Day Lead team of 6-7 data engineers and MLOps engineers Hire, Coach and mentor team members. Drive a staffing strategy. Clearly communicate with stakeholders including  product management and the larger business partners about our technical solves in simple, easy to understand language. Strong software fundamentals are critical for the success of this role. What You Bring To The Role 7+ years experience in a data or software engineering role 5+ years of experience managing a development, data engineering or data science teams as technical lead or people manager 3+ years experience managing teams as people manager Strong subject matter expertise in either data engineering or MLOps High degree of familiarity with tools such as: Kafka, Big Query, Beam, Spark, Lambdas, Tensorflow, Airflow Strong experience designing solutions in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Strong experience and knowledge in building scalable solutions and backend engineering   The expected salary range for this role is $194,992.00 - $245,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
