Smartsheet has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Analyst with a strong technical foundation in identity access management. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for conducting access reviews, analyzing the organization's identity and security platforms, and fostering collaboration with diverse teams to uphold a secure and streamlined access environment. Moreover, they will play a pivotal role in driving ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing identity and access management practices throughout the organization.

This position reprts to the Sr. Director, Identity Access Management and can be based remotely within Costa Rica or in Smartsheet’s corporate offices in San José.
You Will:
Contribute to the formulation of the overarching identity access management technical strategy, including design, standards, and procedures
Partner with both internal and external resources to efficiently conduct and comprehensively document user access reviews, encompassing user accounts, service accounts, and password parameters
Ensure the punctual delivery of review results to auditors for rigorous testing, demonstrating commitment to regulatory and security compliance.
Aggregate and present pivotal Identity and Access Management (IAM) Metrics, offering a clear view of ongoing efforts and showcasing the progress made
Create code for querying both the front-end and back-end of a wide range of systems
Serve as a subject matter expert and act as a coach and mentor to colleagues within the organization, guiding them in the adoption of best practices in identity and access management
Drive a culture of continuous process improvement, with a particular focus on optimizing identity and access management systems and related processes.
Collaborate closely with IT and other business teams to enhance provisioning and access management processes, promoting operational efficiency and security.
You Have:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with specialization in an information technology field or equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or certification preferred.
5+ years experience as an information technology/compliance analyst
Experience and understanding of identity and access management and correlating concepts, such as Role-based Access Control, user directories, Single Sign-On, privileged access management, and multifactor authentication (MFA).
Experience developing risk assessments across various systems
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills.
Extremely versed in application programming interface (API) concepts and methods
Strong working knowledge of multiple frameworks. (SOC2, NIST, CIS, FEDRAMP)
Working knowledge of privileged user management tools
General information security certification (e.g., CISSP, GSEC, etc.)
Experience with IAM within Okta, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Active Directory
