This internship is a part of a 10-week summer internship program opportunity. This role will be based at Archer’s headquarters in San Jose, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.  What You’ll Do: Archer is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join various teams within Archer. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of our operations which may include Finance, People Operations, Supply Chain, Legal or Airline Operations.  Identify opportunities for packaging and transportation cost optimization within the Archer supply base Develop recommended optimization  actions and implementation for Archer Obtain cross-functional management approvals for implementation Initiate action plan with Logistics and Sourcing teams for high impact items Collaborate with the different Supply chain teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering to promote best practices Present findings and results  to Archer executive leadership  What You Need: Currently enrolled in a degree program in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) at an accredited university, preferably a Junior going into your Senior year Experience in Purchasing Logistics Planning, coupled with a sense of first principle reasoning Passion for solving complex supply chain challenges Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to execute and adapt within an ambiguous environment Clear, concise and confident communicator Results focused  Aligned with Archer’s core values  Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
