This role demands a proactive approach to stay ahead in the technology curve and a keen ability to determine the best technological solutions for our projects. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on security aspects, including working with current and emerging technologies. Experience working with 3D data and USD files is highly desirable. Frontend experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript/Typescript and modern UI frameworks (e.g. Svelte) is highly desirable. Proficient in Python programming and up-to-date with the latest version and features.. Strong experience with FastAPI (preferred) or similar modern web frameworks. Active engagement with current tech trends, with a knack for evaluating and adopting the best tools and practices. Deep understanding of micro services design, RESTful APIs and server-side logic. Experience and expertise in GraphQL, including designing and implementing GraphQL APIs. Experience in implementing robust and advanced security measures and understanding of secure coding practices. Proficient in database technologies, both relational and NoSQL (MongoDB preferred). Experience with cloud services, like AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP, etc. Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git. Description Description Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications. Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration of user-facing elements. Optimize applications for maximum speed, efficiency, and security. Implement, update, and maintain security protocols and data protection measures. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Actively contribute to the improvement of overall system architecture and design. Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices. Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
