Marketing Automation Specialist – Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Japan)Description -About this role:In this role you will support the development and execution of Customer Communication Programs and Automations in Japan. You will play a hands-on role in building customer journeys and data automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and contributing to the management and support of the HP customer lifecycle journey, including but not limited to the deployment of new customer data integration initiatives, developing CRM campaigns and highly personalized multi-channel programs to enhance HP customer experiences.With an objective of growing HP’s engaged customer base, you will work closely with stakeholders in Japan and within the International Customer Management team (Platform, Analytics, CRM, Data), to develop an ecosystem of automated touchpoints for HP’s Japan customers.You will join the International Customer Management team responsible for customer strategy, base value, monetization, and brand consideration. As part of Digital Direct organization, you will support strategic direct to customers transformation. You will be welcomed to HP, an innovative US$50bi company that keeps reinventing itself and is #1 in most areas it plays.Scope:Support the development and implementation of HP Japan across customer integration, customer data mapping and enable effective use of CRM platform features to improve customer acquisition, customer value, growth and or reducing customer attrition and churnDeliver extensive and effective customer data integration in Salesforce Marketing Cloud by partnering with CRM data architecture, analytics and business stakeholdersAct as the internal SME and advocate for CRM, Marketing Automation and Salesforce Marketing CloudCollaborate and build strong stakeholder relationships and adopt cross collaboration across other relevant teams, functional areas, and external vendorsPerforming day-to-day management and implementation of the marketing automation functions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email, Push, SMS, Advertising Audiences, and form/webpage creation through CloudPagesMaintain SFMC in APJ instance and processes to ensure data integrity and efficiencyBuild, test, deploy and execute highly personalized emails through end-to-end testing, HTML, and AMPscriptAssist campaign specialists and stakeholders by troubleshooting issues with daily automations, campaign development queries, data complexities using SQL, as well as those identified during campaign build and testingProvide recommendations and improvements to generate increased performance from core KPIs such as acquisition and revenue driversImplementation of testing and optimization strategies to provide recommendations and drive continuous improvementsRequired Experience:5-7 years relevant experience / flexible to fit the right candidate covering 80% of requirements.Business level Japanese and English is a must.End to end campaign management and delivery using Marketing Automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred), including - planning, development, execution and performance - processes with internal and external parties involved, supervision and development of platform operation, management of campaign execution and automation resources and agency, best practices and budget.Experience leading the development and execution of personalized direct communication programs at scale through email channel and other inbound and outbound channels (onsite, push, in-app, SMS, digital advertising, call centers, sales reps, etc).Full ownership of data integration, campaigns and programs securing excellence in experience standards. Working with central and local stake holders, management of portfolio of initiatives and international email campaign calendar. Leadership of performance reviews.Experience creating highly responsive direct customer and communications. On direct marketing, on brand, on channel best practices with unique combination of creativity and effectiveness. Design background a plus. Master email marketing communications, comfortable writing and/or reviewing copy, HTML and AMPscript knowledge desirable.Project Management, involving handling multiple stakeholders across functions, geographies, and skills, combined with a business focused outlook.Strong data-driven mindset, with experience with SQL, with experience in campaign analytics and performance measurement.
