Workstation Category ManagerDescription -An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of HP’s Next Category Manager for Workstations - ANZ ; focusing on channel sales. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing HP's Workstations category, contributing to the expansion of our Workstations team. The role demands strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a focus on managing a growing the HP Workstations channel business, taking calculated risks, and delivering tangible results. Key Responsibilities: Developing and leading the channel strategy for Business Workstations in collaboration with the Workstations peers and the head of Commercial, ensuring an end-to-end approach.Managing the P&L, driving channel revenue growth, market share, and profitability for the business.Engaging with senior-level stakeholders, including department heads, to achieve business objectives.Demonstrating strategic thinking and influencing skills to guide key business decisions.Cultivating an outcomes-driven mindset, embracing challenges, and fostering a collaborative and adaptable work environment.Exhibiting strong communication skills and a positive demeanor to enhance the team culture.Leveraging analytical capabilities and a competitive mindset to stay ahead of market trends and competitors.Leading overall engagement with one or several sales/marketing/finance teams.Spearheading engagement partnerships with external IT vendors. Knowledge and Skills: IT industry knowledge, with slant towards channel knowledge is preferable Business planning skills with a focus on multidimensional analysis.Financial planning and modeling skills, with comfort in managing business planning and reporting.Familiarity with promotional marketing processes and practices.Negotiation skills and the ability to articulate product value propositions to customers/partners.Leadership skills and cross-functional expertise (channel sales, Partners Distributors, supply chain, marketing).A Growth Mindset.
