The Associate Project Manager will assist with projects performing typical tasks such as building project timelines, preparing project Kickoff’s, creating project plans, reconciling invoicing and budgets, and managing issues/risks. The Associate Resource Manage will help with project staffing requirements, assist in the creation of reporting, analyze data which contribute to project reviews, conduct research to identify alternate staffing solutions, and prepare resource data for regular cadence meetings. This Associate level role will work under the guidance of Senior level team members within the Mainframe Technical Consulting Services organization.Work Experience:● At least 2-3 years project management and/or resource management experience preferably in an IT professional services organization● Exposure to Mainframe Software concepts or equivalent information technology disciplines● Familiarity with Broadcom Clarity PPM, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning or equivalent PPM or ERP software● Knowledge of Project Management methodologies with an understanding of the major phases of the project management lifecycle● Proven organizational and planning skills● Ability to align client resource management staffing requirements across a pool of 100 Consultants● Exceptional verbal and written communication, influencing, and analytical skills● Experience managing shifting priorities, demands, and timelines in a fast-paced environment● Skilled in use of spreadsheet tools, word processing documentation, and slide show presentation programs (e.g. Microsoft, Google)● Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills● Technical proficiency and customer-facing skills● Generally works without consulting their manager, proven ability to work independently● Typically has a geographic focus of North AmericaExperience: Bachelor’s and 5+ years of related experience requiredCertification: Associate Project Management or Resource Management Certification is preferred Additional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 - $130,000 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
