We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success. Data Center ManagerJob Summary:Manages, trains, cross trains, develops, and motivates Chennai 1 datacenter operations team which includes various functions such as customer operations engineers, critical facilities engineers, etc. Drafts budget proposals, provides status reports, internal/external customer and interdepartmental communications.Responsibilities:1) Team ManagementManages teams to ensure optimal performance of Chennai 1 datacenterDevelops and motivates team members2) Technical SupportInvestigates technical issues and leads supervisors in resolving issuesProvides root cause analysis3) System SupportEnsures team members are working within the system per the operational requirementsResolves basic issues4) Facilities ManagementReviews recommendations and pricing with local suppliers and keeps servicing records to ensure that data center infrastructure is properly maintained5) BudgetingDrafts proposals for data center infrastructure improvements which require capital expenditure approval6) ReportingProvides routine status reports on data center performance7) StandardsAccountable and responsible for adherence to and evolution of global standardsQualifications:Typically requires more than 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in Data Center Operations ManagementBachelor’s degree preferably in Electronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Electronic, Mechatronic, System information or relatedClear understanding of the end-to-end delivery process of a Data Center service (rack, cage, power, cooling, cabling, networking)Experience in managing cross functional teamFluent in English and Tamil
