Blue Yonder - Fulfill your Potential. www.blueyonder.comScope:Core responsibilities include collaborating with customers on functional requirements desired, developing new technical solutions or altering existing Blue Yonder product – Transportation Management functionality to meet the customer’s value needs, Unit testing to validate that new and existing functional use cases work as desired, and documenting the solution throughout the development life cycle.Development methodologies may differ based on the scope of the projects; however, all rely on collaborative communication. This includes interaction with internal team members for the reviews of development designs, creation of development timeline plans, and reporting of development status as well as discussions with the customer directly for clarifications of needs, value expected, or obtaining feedback via development demonstrations.This position will be focused on working with our teams involved in development for the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System, Transportation Management System, Category management System, Enterprise Store Solutions product suites etc.What you’ll do: (Responsibilities)Develop Java EE applications for Blue Yonder Product suitePerform development activities such as coding, testing, and documenting user and technical information for the features or tools being developedReview reported issues from customers and guide to resolution (data, configuration, necessary code fix)Participate in development solution reviews with customers or internal teams to discuss specifications or demonstrate software developedEnsure development meets the requirements and use cases defined with high quality and on-timeIdentify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problemsProvide status updates and work with the internal development team to identify and mitigate impediments to meet the development delivery plans.Keep all applicable systems and documentation updated per standards on a consistent basis (time entry, JIRA updates, code repositories, feature documentation, etc.)Offer guidance to newer team members on development processes and functional-technical questionsAssist with occasional critical customer needs such as remote on-call go-live support rotations or on-site go-live presence.What we are looking for: (Qualifications)Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Equivalent8+ years development experience working with teams in a waterfall or agile methodologyRequired Tool / Language ExperienceProficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Knowledge of writing native modules for high-level languages such as Node.js, ReactJS, Python, Go, etc.In-depth knowledge of popular Java frameworks like JSF and Spring MVCJIRA or other development tracking tool experienceSource Code Control (SVN, GIT, or equivalent)Relational database experience with Oracle PL/SQL, and SQL ServerExperience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps CI or GitLab CI,Knowledge on Snowflake Data management Services on Ms Azure, AWS or GCPWorked on MicroservicesExperience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)Desirable and Beneficial ExperienceSupply Chain / Logistics UnderstandingGood Problem Solving Skills and CommunicationsExperience designing, building and testing Java EE applicationsOur ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
