You will be working hand-in-hand with our physics and robotics software engineers to build a new simulation feature targeted at robotics and industrial use cases. The work you will do during this internship will directly contribute towards Nvidia’s Omniverse platform.What You Will Be DoingSpecify, plan, and implement a new simulation featureSolve ambitious tasks in close collaboration with lead engineersTest the new feature against analytical and real-world expectationsPush your C++ and CUDA programming skills to the next level and learn to navigate a large code baseWhat We Need to SeeCurrently pursuing a Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computational Science, Mechanical or Robotics Engineering or a related field.A solid foundation in one or more of the following domains: CAD, robotics, physics simulation, 3D animation, or AIProficient analytical abilities, especially in analysis, linear algebra, numerical algorithms, and physicsAdvanced skills in C++ programmingThe ability to independently and efficiently debug codeThe capability for self-directed work and persistence when faced with complex problemsWays to Stand Out From The CrowdExperience with modeling and simulating physical systems; robotics; AI workflowsCUDA programming experienceA track record of contributing to large code basesNvidia is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
