SummaryThis role will be responsible for supporting the development of new and the maintenance of existing product capabilities as they relate to multiple structured data standards (XBRL and XML), frameworks, and regulations. This role will work independently to maintain a deep understanding of XBRL and XML standards, filing requirements, and best practices, and assist in the interpretation of these materials as needed to facilitate the implementation of new regulations and updates to existing regulations.What You’ll DoAs subject matter expert for the product organization, this role independently executes on initiativesResearch and collect data on structured data mandates, and taxonomies & schemasResearch and analyze structured data mandates requirements, and document results (such as XBRL features, validations, output requirements, etc.)Evaluate new taxonomies and filing rules releasesProvide information needed to Engineering and PMProvide input into prototyping and validation of initial product approachWork closely with PM on user discovery and support launch planningLead product testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsEvaluate and interpret validation rules in support of the product strategyImplement validation rules using a variety of low code processesAssist in the communication of information and delivering training to internal and external constituents as needed.What You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.4+ years of relevant professional experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with structured data standards such as eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL), Statistical Data and Metadata eXchange (SDMX), etcExperience with Extensible Markup Language (XML)Excellent data analysis skills, with ability to synthesize and present informationA detailed understanding of XBRL regulations and guidelinesCommitment to learn new concepts and industry best practices within a fast-paced, high-performance product environment.Be comfortable executing on multiple projects and high-quality deliverables simultaneously with excellent time management skills and sense of prioritization.Demonstrates strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracyTravel RequirementMinimalWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.How You’ll Be Rewarded:Salary range in the US: $102,000.00 - $173,000.00A discretionary bonus typically paid annuallyRestricted Stock Units granted at time of hire401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
