The RealReal is seeking a Director, Field Training to support the Head of Experience and Education in infusing a culture of learning within TRR. This seasoned professional will work with the Head of ExE to ensure implementation and accurate execution in the field teams (Sales, Retail, Ops). They will manage team members to facilitate, shadow on-site as needed, provide coaching and feedback, and track and measure results to continue improving training efforts.

What You Get To Do Every Day
Partner with Head of ExE and training design team to reimagine training & development curriculum including onboarding, ongoing training programs, program execution and follow-up.
Manage project plans, including timelines for discovery, design, and execution for all business units ensuring thorough execution, measuring impact and reporting metrics
Ensure a cohesive, connected experience in training content that aligns with client/consignor experience.
Communicate with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Retail, Ops to understand business needs and objectives in order to manage team of field trainers executing towards the goals
Deploy training programs to build employee skills, overseeing customization as needed
Work with Field Training Managers to identify skill gaps to iterate or create new training programs.
Manage and develop team of Field Training Managers
Ensure training programs have a clear evaluation strategy in place, regularly tracking & reporting program impact
Foster strong partnerships with business leaders and key stakeholders to build trainings that achieve business goals.
Develop strong knowledge of business units (Sales, Retail/LCO, Consignor Relations/Client Services, Operations) to enable and blend business needs, learner needs, and cross-functional development opportunities
What You Bring To The Role
A minimum of 8 years of experience in building and scaling training programs with experience in learning design within metric-driven business function
Experience in outside sales or complex operational facilities a plus
Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with ability to operationalize in order to enable teams to execute in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Experience developing training programs based on instructional design methodologies (instructor-led, virtual learning, etc) that deliver key performance indicators
Ability to think strategically and develop long and short term learning recommendations that flex to meet business demands and scale to growth
Concise and articulate communicator with a knack for simplifying complex information (both written and verbally); facilitation experience is a bonus
Proficient with Google Suite applications, Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems, common Learning Design Technologies (i.e. Articulate 360, PhotoShop, Camtasia, Adobe Premier, etc)
Enthusiastic, team player able to work effectively across all departments
Demonstrates a growth mindset
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
The expected salary range for this role is $171,262.90 - $228,796.00 . To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
