Smartsheet is seeking a new member of the Talent Development Team. As a Learning Experience Designer within the People & Culture organization, you’ll bring your passion for creating engaging, effective learning solutions to help drive skill development and adoption of new initiatives for Smartsheet employees.  This role will report to the Senior Manager of Talent Management within the Talent Development team.  You Will: Design and develop creative, customer-centric, and performance-based eLearning products Design training for all levels of employees and leaders learning needs company-wide, with a primary focus on training for Performance Management and Career development processes & programs Create various learning experiences, including in-person, virtual instructor-led, e-learning, videos, job aids, other self-paced resources, and more Manage learning product development lifecycle, manage SMEs, and deliver products on time Facilitate collaboration, support, and approval from a variety of cross-functional stakeholders for eLearning products Cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs and create learning products that meet those needs Contribute to and improve our eLearning playbook and style guides Partner with the People & Culture team to ensure managers are prepared to support their team members and employees are prepared when new initiatives are rolled out Serve as an Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS). Maintain systems, create user profiles, create usage reports, publish SCORM, video, and other digital content, etc. Work with team members to define both the long-term strategy and short-term tactics for performance management, competency/career development, and other training initiatives You Have: 5+ years experience in a corporate training environment; experience with training for performance management programs and/or career development programs desired Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational accreditation in instructional design, Learning & Development or related field OR relevant experience An eLearning portfolio demonstrating your ability to solve real business and customer problems using your strong graphic design skills, technical writing skills, attention to detail, and a sophisticated and clean aesthetic Proficiency using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise (or similar eLearning authoring software) Experience using TechSmith Camtasia (or similar video editing software), Adobe Photoshop (or similar photo editing software) and/or Adobe Audition (or similar audio editing software) Experience scoping, designing, prototyping, testing, building, and launching digital training Experience planning and analyzing data-driven learning experiences using SCORM or xAPI data Experience with web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) Perks & Benefits: HSA, 100% employer-paid premiums, or buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees Stock - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for eligible roles Lucrative Employee Stock Purchase Program (15% discount) 401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay) Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity Flexible Time Away Program, plus Incidental Sick Leave Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to LinkedIn Learning online courses Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account Teleworking options from any registered location in the U.S. (role specific)  US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location.
