Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 100 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:
Build data-driven technologies to help make critical strategic and operational decisions to enable business and technical experts.
Collaborate with the engineering team to build real-time service to move riders and aircraft efficiently that power the digital backbone of our core product.
Help build data pipelines and scale data infrastructure.
Contribute to ad hoc problems supporting stakeholders from across the organization.
What you need:
Current standing junior, senior, or MS student at accredited college or university studying engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
Proficiency with at least one backend programming language like C/C++, Java, or Go
Proficiency with at least one scripting language like Python or bash
Ability to learn and adapt within an ambiguous environment
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Insatiable curiosity who is extremely detail oriented
Eager to learn, positive attitude and highly motivated
Bonus Qualifications:
Familiarity with data infrastructure platforms and database systems
Familiarity with data science and optimization algorithms
Additional Details:
Program duration will be approximately June - August 2024
Must be able to work a full time schedule (approximately 40 hours per week) at our office location
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
