Together, we will build the next generation of life changing Mobile Platforms to enhance man-machine interaction and enrich daily productivity cycles. Then we will apply it to other applications such as In Vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Virtual Reality (VR), healthcare, data science, immersive gaming, exceptional content creation and more.If you are a motivated individual that understands how systems and platforms are architected and built, have intimate knowledge about various types of mobile displays development requirements, design enabling interactions and nuances of customization, this is your place to be.What you’ll be doing:Serve as the Platform Power Architect Intern to understand and model platform power delivery for creator and gamer platforms.Compare specifications, Performance, Cost and required Form Factor to drive improvements to overall platform power.Track industry ecosystem to have a full next 3 yr view for major components in the Power Delivery segment.Interact with power management architects to learn techniques and pave the way for robust interception.Work closely with senior platform and SoC architects to contribute to platform power model and related projections, and drive power instrumentation to measure and verify platform power on pre-production systems.Leverage created model to assess and enhance state of the art techniques to further improve platform power/thermal/performance. Help define specifications for evolving display, imaging, vision and other technical innovations and drive this with various internal and ecosystem partners.Record and Log progress in the system.What we need to see:Pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a Bachelor degree with some familiarity in system/platform architecture, power management, and power modeling.Desire and drive to learn and facilitate design collaterals, power & thermal management, SoC/platform power rollups, scenario-based power assessments.Some Modeling experience using Industry Standard tools and standard benchmarks to guide internal data collection.Enjoy being hands on in leading or being in the lab for implementing new use case models.With highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
