Job Requisition ID #23WD73984Position OverviewAutodesk has an exciting opportunity within our Named Accounts Technical Sales Organization, focused on Autodesk's Fusion Platform and Enterprise Data Management solutions.We have an opening for a Senior Solutions Engineer (Fusion Platform/Data Management) that is a team player who will help our Named Account Customers scope and define solutions for their data management system. Our mission is to work directly with customers to understand their engineering and business requirements as they relate to data management, product lifecycle management, and data interoperability between multiple systems. Based on that understanding, you will define an overall approach that is based on Autodesk Data Platform products.You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Sales for Named Accounts. This is a fully remote position, and you will work from a home office within the USA.ResponsibilitiesWork with customers and colleagues in the pre-sales phases of Data Platform projects (from business development, solutioning, proof of concept, demonstrations, and technical sales closure).Propose solutions for Named Account Customers from the Automotive and Manufacturing businesses by applying the capability of Autodesk platforms.Document solutions and activities in standard business systems.Be able to explain and demonstrate proposed solutions at the technical level to customers at multiple levels within an organization.Build partnerships with clients and colleagues.Minimum Qualifications8+ years of experience working with different data management and PLM tools.Experienced in the analysis of work processes and associated document and information flow.In depth working knowledge of PDM/PLM tools like Autodesk Vault, Fusion Manage, UpChain or similar.Knowledge of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies.Communicate both internally and externally in a multinational ecosystem.Expertise presenting at both the user/engineering level and also to upper management.Be able to build healthy working relations within the technical sales and enterprise sales organizations and work within a sales team environment.Communicate customer requirements to the product development organization to improve product capabilities.Travel up to 70% may be required.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with tools, techniques, and practices for analyzing the purpose and scope of a product, a process, or project regarding cost and benefits.Experience in cloud-based PDM.Experience working with different CAD tools, ideally in the Autodesk ecosystem.Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain related challenges and their processes.Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in architecture, engineering, computer science, or related degree.Graduate level applications are welcome.#LI-LR2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $176,600 and $255,640. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
