Our intern program is intended to enhance your overall learning experience, give you an opportunity to make an impact, have some fun, and meet great people along the way. Join us for a 12-week paid Summer 2024 Internship designed to let you apply your classroom learnings to real world challenges.  Our internships have a thoughtful balance of networking, executive speakers, community involvement, big meaty projects (no paper filing here!) and fun!The Team: The Personal Systems organization creates a full ecosystem of digital experiences through advancing leadership in computing, creating immersive experiences through peripherals, and expanding digital services. Desirable Knowledge and Skills: Experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.Extensive experience in Software products / solutionsUnderstands the Security landscape and big pictureExcellent analytical and problem solving skills.Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.Required Skills:Knowledgeable with Kubernetes and containers as well as architecting secure robust Kubernetes solutions with Docker and EKS preferably.Knowledgeable on AWS and Building out full robust solutions.Able to learn quicklyAble to research issues and produce valid solutions on their ownTerraform/Terragrunt or equivalent experience and the ability/interest to learn Terraform/TerragruntGood understanding of IAC in generalCI/CD understanding, pipelines, Jenkins or ADO experience is fine if they are willing to learn ADO if they don’t have it.Build/Deployment automation/scripting.Windows automation knowledge, Powershell, batch, generally good with the command line and automating installations.Aka… a good understanding of scripting and configuring Windows.General Linux knowledge, Installations, general command line usage, etc..Knowledge of building .net, Java and .net core applications or equivalent experience.Hands on knowledge on programming (multi-threading, sockets, etc.), and application developmentSkilled in Troubleshooting and resolving complex  Application issuesSelf-starter with desire to work across a variety of requirementsAbility to execute the plan in timely manner and with good quality is highly preferred.Comfortable with DBA Knowledge with MS Sql Server and other relational databases.Education and Experience Required: Master's degree 1st year completePreferred majors: Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.We are looking for visionaries who are ready to make an impact on the way the world works.
