If you'd like to build the world's best deep learning cloud, join us.  *Note: This position requires presence in our San Jose Headquarters 5 days per week About the Role Our Manufacturing team has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to help build and ship our computer products to our customers globally. In this role you will have the opportunity to assemble and test Lambda products as well as work cross functionally with other parts of the business. The role is extremely important to maintain Lambda’s commitment to excellent customer service and maintain its high approval rating. We are looking for passionate, dedicated technicians who love what they do and can provide excellent testing support. What You’ll Do Workstation assembly (Motherboard, CPU, Memory, GPU, PSU and Drives) Server assembly L6-L10 Software installation (automated command line tool operation) Test Lambda machines Rack, stack, label and cable servers and networking devices Document diagnostics and machine/hardware failures You Have an excellent track record working in computer manufacturing or similar role Have server manufacturing experience (hardware integration i.e. CPU and other hardware components) Are capable of performing mechanical and electrical assembly including cable routing and wiring Are capable of standing for long periods of time Are adaptable and flexible to changes as needed Can work cross-functionally with other groups Can maintain a clean and safe work environment Are organized and detail-oriented Are a team player and a reliable colleague with dependable work ethic Have great verbal and written communication skills Nice to Have Excel at troubleshooting computer and electro-mechanical systems including use of testing equipment and tools  Computer skills and networking / IT knowledge, Linux and command line interface knowledge desirable Ability to read and interpret diagrams Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems About Lambda We offer generous cash & equity compensation Investors include Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund We are experiencing extremely high demand for our systems, with quarter over quarter, year over year profitability Our research papers have been accepted into top machine learning and graphics conferences, including NeurIPS, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, and TOG We have a wildly talented team of 200, and growing fast Health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents Commuter/Work from home stipends 401k Plan with 2% company match Flexible Paid Time Off Plan that we all actually use Salary Range Information  Based on market data and other factors, the hourly range for this position is $25-$30 per hour.
