Job Requisition ID #24WD75144Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated team player to join the Audit & Advisory Services (A&AS) team to provide risk advisory support for Autodesk as part of its continued growth through Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and internal back-office digital transformation. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, is highly adaptable, and has a deep understanding of business processes, systems, and related compliance risks. To be successful, the candidate must be able to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts, identify & assess risks, and drive compliance through control design and implementation. The candidate will ultimately serve as a trusted risk advisory partner to stakeholders across the company, both inside and outside of the Finance organization. Responsibilities This individual contributor role will require the candidate to work across various initiatives within the A&AS team, including: Performing risk assessments of new/evolving business models, systems, sales strategies, and M&ARepresenting A&AS on various cross-functional teams, including those integrating acquisitions and/or implementing new business models / systemsActing as a trusted risk and compliance advisor to stakeholders across various organizationsIdentifying risks, control gaps, and changes to the SOX program for new systems and/or new or changing business processesUpdating process documentation and designing new controls, to respond to identified control gaps or other changesCollaborating with functional leads to monitor changes in the regulatory environment, mitigate risks and drive complianceProviding recommendations on process design optimization, including optimal use of automation and systematic capabilities for future scalabilityMinimum QualificationsMinimum 5+ years relevant business experience; preferably in Software / SaaS industryBackground in Finance, Audit or Operations preferredDemonstrated experience identifying risks (and related controls) within business processes and related systemsOutstanding communication, presentation, and collaboration skillsExcellent quantitative and analytical skills; high attention to detail is criticalAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics experience is an assetUnderstanding of ASC 606 and related compliance requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience with M&A, including integration of acquired companies Ability to provide sound business judgment, strategic thinking, and broad financial and business perspectiveAnalytical thinker with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needsProficiency in synthesizing information quickly, while being able to make decisions with confidence Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment Capability to balance multiple projects and competing prioritiesWorking knowledge of the complexities of a global company and ability to operate within a matrix environment Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley rules and requirementsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $98,700 and $159,610. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
