The mission of this team is to balance our desire to deliver simple and delightful products to customers while at the same time securing our customers' and partners' sensitive data and networks. The Product Security team identifies security problems, risks, and threats in current and future products and proactively addresses them by designing in and implementing security from the hardware level to the application level. This wide range of areas provides a wealth of challenges on which to work.  As a Security Software Engineer you will help ensure that the security of our products is cutting edge, consistent, scalable, resilient, maintainable, and usable.  If you are excited about security and firmware, read on!  The Sonos ecosystem is large and growing, and security is a critical consideration at all levels and stages. We are looking for an engineer who understands this mandate and is excited by the opportunity to learn about security technologies. What You’ll DoYou will work with and learn from top-notch security engineers on a line of very popular consumer products, and your code will help secure tens of millions of devices, which is very cool.  You will focus on our embedded system products, but the role can involve work in other areas, such as cloud and mobile.Increasing product security may in turn increase complexity for the end user.  However, a clean, comfortable user experience is central to the Sonos product experience.
