Consistently delivers solid product documentation and helps the team shape documentation standardsand improved processes, in particular:• Designated writer for a product or product suite; leads a team of writers for a product if applicable.• Delivers content for online help systems, user guides, and technical manuals as assigned.• Is establishing a reputation as a “go to” person for documentation on a specific product or specificareas of product functionality.• Mentors junior writers in the execution of project release deliverables or in other key departmentinitiatives.• Adheres to, researches, and recommends improvements to department processes and writingstandards.• Prepares and communicates accurate project scopes, estimates, and completion dates of assigneddeliverables against a defined timeline.• Proficiently uses help authoring tool and source-control system to complete specific authoring tasks.• Collaborates with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders (PD/PMG) to determinenecessary content updates.• Understands product designs that are being implemented and how implementation satisfiesbusiness and user requirements.• Obtains approval of new or revised content by subject matter experts and key contributors to crossfunctionalteams.• Performs documentation reviews and verifies reusability and ensures the documentation adheres tostandards.• Collaborates with and leads other technical writers in peer and copy editing to ensure quality.• Delivers documentation that meets all defined requirements from PD/PMG and warrants productfunctionality.• Understands and manages tasks in alignment with agile software development processes, tools, andtechniques.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
