eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in New York, NYJob Duties: Responsible for developing the data indexing system. Provides leadership, professional oversight, and integral support for product performance issues and will deliver solutions that promote efficiency and internal customer service. Understand, estimate, design, and implement complex software applications.  Deliver highly performing, low latency, robust code with high test coverage, continuous integration, and production monitoring. Monitor and maintain the batch and real-time indexer pipelines. Lead engineering design and code reviews. Triage and debug production issues.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, or closely related field plus one year of experience in the job offered as a MTS 1, Software Engineer or a closely related occupation.Special Skill Requirements: 1.    Scala, 2.    System Design, 3.    Search Engine, 4.    Big Data,5.    Data Structure, 6.    Algorithm, 7.    E-commerce, 8.    Spark, 9.    HadoopBase salary:  $190,000-205,700 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
