eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in San Jose, CAJob Duties: Build and implement software applications for eBay marketplaces after sales areas. Design, develop and deploy software applications in an agile environment with a focus on problem solving and engineering excellence. Lead software product initiatives, recommend improvements, mentor and guide junior team members. Collaborate with other engineers, architecture, product management, quality assurance, and operations teams to develop innovative software solutions that meet business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and adherence to development principles and product goals. Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes. Participate in all aspects of program development life cycle (PDLC) including requirement/design reviews as well as software code reviews.
