We are responsible for ensuring the quality meets Japanese market expectations as quality matters a lot in our market. We are looking for an experienced software quality engineer based in our Tokyo office for Document Cloud/Adobe Sign service. What You’ll DoYou work with the engineers in the US and India to raise the quality issues to be addressed. You are responsible for creating a test plan and test execution.You will be expected to be a trusted advisor for the Japanese feature specifications. You must communicate proactively with the other functions in the Japan office to collect the requirements/concerns for the products/services.You must work with the other QE members and Adobe Japan internal stakeholders to continuously update a translation style guide and terminology database. What You'll HaveBS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong computer science fundamentalsReal passion and interest in quality and localizationAbility to work independently, triage issues and take corrective actionStrong interest in agile software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools, developing test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for reporting,Knowledge of testing of Web, iOS, Android, OS X, and Windows services and applicationsWilling to learn the 3rd party services as the product may involve 3rd party integration3 years of software testing for web service and/or desktop, and mobile products OR experience as a technical support engineer or customer support engineerNative Japanese language proficiencyProficiency in communication in English both verbal and written (TOEIC 750 or above) Nice to haveKnowledge about MicroserviceUnderstanding the software codeExperience in testing internationalization and localizationKnowledge of Adobe Document Cloud products and third-party services like Salesforce and MicrosoftAdobe for AllAdobe strives to create an environment where our employees can do their best work and drive their career growth and development based on their personal goals.
