We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in Beijing. This is an amazing opportunity to work on accounting in MNC.The jobholder will be supporting the effective and timely delivery of the monthly close activities and supporting the associated reporting for the relevant business groups; assisting with the production and submission of local statutory and compliance requirements. Meeting the quarterly reporting requirements for the Clarivate Group.The team consists of 10 people and is reporting to the Director of Accounting.We are expected the role has strong relationship building with business finance, corporate functions, internal & external audit and within the shared service centre community and is critical in ensuring that all revenue, costs, commitments, assets and liabilities are accurately recorded on a timely basis. This role will provide support for the control of the balance sheets and ensure that the financial statements reflect local and international standards as well as complying with the Sarbanes Oxley recommendations.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments BS/MS degree or equivalent of accounting or financeMinimum 3 years solid working experience in GL or have dived into the analytical part of multiple accounting cycles.Fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal)It would be great if you also had . . . Combined experience in local company/MNC/FirmFamiliar with USGAAP/PRC GAAPGood understanding of China tax law and regulations, hands-on experience is preferred.Good communication skillsWhat will you be doing in this role? Support the delivery of the monthly close activities for each company under remit.Support the production of key supporting schedules for P&L and Balance sheet.Support Bank Reconciliations, blackline Reconciliations and other monthly activities.Support monthly tax compliance and filing.Support monthly variance analysis and explanations.Support Internal, External Auditors and Regulatory Agencies.Support ad hoc projects and tasks.About the Team This is a permanent role within the Group’s International Controllership function with support responsibilities for our APAC entities as assigned. The team consists of 10 people and is reporting to the Director of Accounting.Hours of Work This role is expected to work in the APAC time zone with flexibility to suite global requirement.Hybrid Model: work in Office on Mon.
