The Role Wisetack is looking for an operations leader, with experience in fraud, to guide our Risk Operations Team. The manager will stay one step ahead of fraudsters by devising fraud prevention, detection and monitoring strategies. To effectively execute, the manager will work cross-functionally to improve and optimize processes that make our entire organization faster. Moreover, as a people manager this individual will coach and guide a high-performing team eager to grow. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage effective credit risk and fraud prevention and detection strategies  Lead a team of credit operations specialists and fraud investigators Resolve customer escalations assigned from internal  stakeholders related to credit and fraud operations Collaborate with other internal stakeholders such as growth, customer experience and product to streamline and enhance current interdepartmental processes Partner closely with compliance to act as a liaison between Wisetack and banking partners Create new opportunities for team members to learn and grow their careers Delegate responsibilities to enforce and improve procedures, guidelines and training programs Requirements 3+ years of financial fraud investigation experience  Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience  Experience utilizing SQL for data analysis used in proposing process improvement  Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Strong decision-making ability Ability to motivate and lead employees Experience creating policy and goals for credit and fraud operations teams to align with Familiarity with Know Your Customer, Know Your Business and Anti-Money Laundering requirements, policies and laws Bonus points Start-up or FinTech lending experience The range of base salary for the position is between $91,700 - $128,400, plus equity, and  benefits . Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
