PagerDuty is seeking a Senior PR Specialist to join our diverse, customer-focused team! As the Senior PR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the visibility and reputation of the PagerDuty Operations Cloud through business and trade media coverage. As a Senior PR Specialist, you will be responsible for creating compelling narratives, building relationships with key media outlets, and driving positive public perception of our products and partnerships. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive forward, amplify, and bring new ideas for PagerDuty’s global communications efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a metrics-driven integrated comms strategy to our fast-paced and high-growth company, alongside having experience developing and executing communication strategies for companies in the B2B space, ideally in enterprise tech. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES   Bring our product story to life for the media by working closely with executives, Product Management, Product Marketing, and the entire organization to deliver on both our short- and long-term communication goals and KPIs Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to promote our products, industry approach, and partner efforts Craft compelling messaging and narratives that effectively communicate the unique value propositions of our products and partnerships Provide PR support for product launches, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximum media exposure Track and analyze PR performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to leadership BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of previous professional experience in Communications and Public Relations, in the technology industry Proven experience working for a B2B tech company launching products and driving campaigns, communication, and go-to-market initiatives PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong writing and editing skills and strong intellectual curiosity - an appetite to share new ideas and find stories to tell from across the PagerDuty world Sound understanding of media relations, showing an ability to develop narratives and pitch ideas that break through and map to company narratives An ability to take story ideas from concept to launch – creating themes that can play through PR, social media, executive keynotes, general marketing, and internal messaging A great connector and communicator - an ability to think about how your work supports and connects to the work of other teams and vice versa Have a knack for absorbing technical, detailed information and transforming it into relevant and innovative content The base salary range for this position is 100,000 - 153,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
