Job Summary:The C3 Presents Festival Marketing team is looking to fill a six-month, contract position beginning February 1, 2024 through August 1, 2024. The Festival Marketing Coordinator will primarily work on two client events happening June and July of 2024.Their main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, management of organic social media management, budget and expense management, contest winner communication and prize fulfillment and digital support (on website, e-mail marketing, SMS, digital advertising and select traditional media outlets) for major milestones & announcements.This position will work closely with the C3 Festival Marketing Department and other C3 departments to coordinate major festival announcements, logistics & ticketing message and fulfilling partnership agreements.This role requires someone who is focused, highly organized, and able to continually prioritize while balancing multiple projects. Experience with social media strategy, overall digital marketing strategy and budget management is important, along with an attention and eye for detail.The ideal candidate has a passion for music, live events, popular culture, and media trends. They must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while having a team-oriented mindset.ResponsibilitiesManage and update budgets for festivals in Microsoft Excel and our internal budget management platformSubmit and monitor expenses and invoices in internal budget management platformCoordinate contest winner communication and prize fulfillmentManage social media strategy and posting on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTokUnderstand various marketing platforms including Sprout Social (preferred), Webflow, MailchimpCoordinate with creative team on copywriting & asset productionHandle administrative tasks & duties for marketing managerAssist with simple graphic design tasks via PhotoShop, InDesign a plusQualifications1-2 years of experience working in digital, marketing, social media, event production, festivals, tech and/or designExcellent organization, attention to detail, takes initiative and fast learner Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and budgeting platformsBasic knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including Zendesk, Webflow, Mailchimp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTokBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plusBasic knowledge of video editing for social media contentHard working, able to take direction and prioritize while juggling multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Resourceful and detail-oriented25 - 29 hours a week with a flexible schedule outside of major announcementsC3 Core CompetenciesDemonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with peopleCommunicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to othersProactively seek solutions to problems.
