In this role, you will be a key player that supports our Customer Base Account Executives (Field Sales) who support our direct Customers on their Workday journey (renewals, add-ons, growth events, etc.). You will be an advisor and offer dealdesk support to our Field Sales team, partnering with Deal Operations, Finance, Revenue Recognition, Revenue Operations, Sales Compensation, Services, Legal Operations and Product management to help our Field Sales team and customers achieve maximum value from Workday. You may also be asked to help lead renewal customer conversations or contribute in renewal negotiations. You will be responsible for handling a number of customer-related opportunities and requests managed by the Customer Base Account Executives, supporting them through regular checkpoints and developing meaningful relationships representing Workday offerings. You will be a part of a phenomenal Customer Base Operations team within Deal Management having control of your own schedule and world class Field Sales support.About the RoleResponsibilities within Deal Operations and Management specific to Customer Base Operations are varied and will build on different skills. Some days will focus on partnering with & supporting the Field Sales team with closing renewals/add-ons in a timely manner. Other days, we'll rely on your keen eye for detail and intuition for business to provide guidance around value-based renewal/add-on pricing, to draft proposals (including renewal rate calculations), addressing Customer redlines and to prepare contracts & review terms and conditions, projects and programs.We're also looking for someone who is a skilled communicator and loves to engage with others. As a Customer Base Deal Manager, you will often respond to questions from customers and field sales on any aspect of a renewal/add-on/growth event, as well as partner with other renewal/deal/subscription team members as appropriate to assist with successful completion of an opportunity, program and/or project. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
