As a project manager, your pivotal role will be instrumental in steering the triumph of key projects, introducing heightened efficiency, and fostering optimization within our procurement organization.About the RoleWorkday is looking for a Senior Program Manager who will be responsible for strategizing, implementing and maintaining program initiatives that adhere to business objectives. This person will manage programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects aligned with business strategies. Having expertise in procurement processes and technology can equip you to provide better support/management contributing to a more successful outcome.You will work closely with various procurement functional teams on project/program efforts as well as various external teams such as security, privacy, finance teams. You will lead various system implementation/integrations, business process development/optimization, automation projects. ResponsibilitiesLead technical, or non-technical projects through design, build, and deploymentFacilitate the definition of program objectives, success criteria, scope, governance, multi-year schedule and budgetCoordinate resources and manage project plans, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule and budgets, in collaboration with applicable stakeholders and teamsMonitor and report progress against project objectives, performance indicators and goalsFocus on results and assist team with achieving most meaningful activities to deliver critical outcomesIdentify project risks and issues and facilitate the development of plans to mitigate or prevent those risksEstablish and maintain relationships with executive sponsors and build trusted advisory relationships with key stakeholders, providing timely contact on project status and changes, gain alignment, address risks and decisionsAssist in implementation and management of PMO governance and operational working practicesSupport team and organization initiatives, including OKRs and special projectsCommunicate effectively and with a level of detail and format appropriate to the audienceAbout YouBasic Qualifications5+ years successfully leading sophisticated, cross-functional, technology based end-to-end projects and programs (SaaS preferred)Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field Other QualificationsProcurement processes and technology experience preferred  Workday Spend Management experience preferredPMP or PgMP certification preferredChange Management certification plusIn-depth user experience with Google Suites, Microsoft Suites (including Excel and PowerPoint), and project planning tools such as SmartsheetStrong organization skills, capable of prioritizing multiple priorities and varying workloads with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrates mastery in all aspects of Project Management plan-driven methodology, including: Scope management, schedule management, financial management, issue & risk management, and execution governanceWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
