Title: Enterprise Solution Architect (Retail Planning)Location: Virtual within the US or Canada OverviewAs an Enterprise Solution Architect at Blue Yonder, you will work within our Consulting Services division to provide expert guidance and support to our customers in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for leading the design and architecture of complex solutions, ensuring scalability and performance, and ensuring customers realize the value from their Blue Yonder solutions.ScopeResponsible for thought leadership in Retail Planning, with experience across the merchandise financial planning, allocation, and assortment domains, and applying that knowledge to improve customer processes. Leveraged as the multi-solution expert for transformational projects / programs. In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using the suite of products in the Retail domain (Softline and Fashion Retail), as well as being on the leading edge with our latest interoperable SaaS innovations and industry trends.What you’ll do Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology and become a “trusted advisor” to the customerGuide the customer through the change required to obtain the business valuePrepare and deliver presentations to user, management, and executive level audiencesConduct business process analysis, blueprinting, and overall design sessions to facilitate solution design documentationDevelop functional specifications that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound designServe as a functional liaison, attend and contribute to key meetings between project managers, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsorsEnsure that all issues/risks are highlighted and assist in resolving issues and mitigating risksParticipate in all aspects of the project to ensure successful deliveryAssist in mentoring junior resources and support strategic initiativesDocument and communicate customer business cases to Product Management and Product Development regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancementsRecognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects and assist in sales effortsBe able to travel and go on-site in US and CanadaWhat we are looking for 8+ years of experience in Retail Planning solutions design and large, transformational implementations in the Softline / Fashion Retail domainStrong understanding of enterprise-level solutions architecture and design principlesDeep and broad hands-on experience in using, implementing, and/or supporting Retail Planning applications. Ideally, we are seeking an individual with Merchandise Financial Planning, Allocation, Assortment, Forecasting, and/or Replenishment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong knowledge of industry standards and best practicesCustomer interaction skillsExperience in leading teams and mentoring junior staffAdvanced degree in Engineering, Science, or Business preferredBachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree*LI-AD1#LI-remote-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is: $109,944.00 - $159,435.00The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
