The RealReal is seeking a business-minded, highly analytical Merchandising Assistant for Women’s and Men’s to support in the execution of strategies to drive omni-channel category performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about our core values of sustainability, authenticity and luxury and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for a self-starter who will take an entrepreneurial approach to category management, brainstorming new and creative ways to drive category KPIs across both supply & demand.
What You Get To Do Every Day
Retail assortment & allocation
Daily allocations to the fleet of stores for both replenishment and storytelling
Coordination with retail teams on trainings & visual merchandising opportunities
Business Analysis
Weekly & monthly reporting of category performance, with a sharp focus on wins & opportunities within our retail fleet
Develop recommendations and execute to deliver on financial plans
Online Storytelling & Trend Reporting
Support curation of category online shops & Editors' Picks
Curate promotional assortments to drive towards financial plans as needed
Assemble seasonal trend guides to support supply initiatives, pricing actions, and retail allocation
What You Bring To The Role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3+ years’ experience at a luxury fashion retailer or ecommerce site
Extensive knowledge of contemporary & luxury designers, current fashion trends and the competitive landscape
Team player with a willingness to solve problems as they arise
Demonstrate a point of view about product assortment, with a strong sense of ownership over his/her work
Robust verbal & presentation skills; strong attention to detail
Intermediate Excel & retail math skills, MS Office, Google G Suite
The expected salary range for this role is $68,136.00 - $72,000.00 . To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
