Job Requisition ID #23WD73379Position OverviewAs an Engineering Manager, Salesforce at Autodesk, you will lead a team of software engineers to translate customer needs into technical solutions. You will work independently and collaboratively with peers to ensure that solutions are built with a long-term vision and align with enterprise platform requirements. You will also provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the team, driving Agile, DevOps, and Reliability practices. You will report to Senior manager and its a hybrid work model.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software systemsUtilize your expert industry knowledge and broad understanding of multiple disciplines to create outcomes for customersFacilitate team collaboration sessions, providing technical expertise and removing technical roadblocksChampion the development and implementation of innovative concepts in development, DevOps, automation, and testingEnsure the team delivers high-quality code following best practices, such as peer code reviews, code standards, unit testing, and test-driven developmentConduct code and document reviews, mentoring the team in best practicesTake the lead in resolving critical incidents and proactively addressing product issuesContinuously assess technology to build more stable, scalable, and resilient softwareCollaborate with business and technical product owners to interpret and translate business needs into technical requirementsRecommend tools and processes to ensure and performanceTroubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficientlyApply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problemsFocus on scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processesChampion security requirements and secure coding practices, performing security reviews with Autodesk-wide security teamsDesign and architect solutions to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable softwareContribute to risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architectureContribute to the technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resources, and quality constraintsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience10+ years of hands-on experience developing scalable, distributed applicationsExperience with Salesforce Declarative and Programmatic CustomizationExperience architecting Salesforce solutions with requirements such as performance SLOs, high availability, and securityUnderstanding of data, security, and software architecture best practices, patterns, and technologiesProficiency in industry-standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practicesFamiliarity with version and revision control practicesExperience extending the Lightning Platform using Apex and Visualforce and understanding Lightning ComponentsUse relevant declarative capabilities of the Salesforce platformExperience with frequent and on-demand releases through the use of modern CI/CD toolsExperience in one additional technical domain in addition to Salesforce (e.g., Java, UI development, Web Services development, Ruby)Knowledge of AWS or other cloud-based service providersExperience working with large-scale enterprise organisationsExcellent analytical skills with a strong ability to solve problemsMeticulous attention to detail in documentation and communicationPreferred Salesforce CertificationsSalesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Platform App BuilderSalesforce Platform Developer ISalesforce Platform Developer IISalesforce OMNI Studio DeveloperSalesforce Application Architect#LI-AK1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
