Razer is seeking an achievement-oriented and self-motivated candidate with end user support and procurement working experience to fill a role in IT team.As System Engineer will work with external technology vendors, System Integrators (SI), hosting service providers and internal IT groups and business units to provide support before and after infrastructure implementation.Maintain local application availability to support business in country. Review and suggest automations for processes to improve performance of various functions in alignment with Infrastructure and Application team. IT Service Desk management to provide timely management and resolution of all user’s incident/problem in country.Providing support to Region IT TeamManaging outsourced Service Desk operationsEnd User ServiceProvide quality support and develop strong working relationship with End Users. Acting as a liaison between the IT and End Users.Server administration, monitoring and maintenance, that includes tasks such as creation of new user, server patch management, server upgrade and updates etc. with HQ instruction and policies.Support deployment & configuration of servers and system (Laptop, desktop, Mac OS)Perform HW replacement - laptop battery change and Hard Disk change etc.Install, support and maintain hardware and software IT Infrastructure such as printer, CCTV, Biometric access, Wi-Fi controllers, IP and PBX telephony system.Work with IT Manager to strategize on improving End User IT experience as well as ensure low impact to End users when deploying or upgrading IT services. Evaluating existing business procedures and recommend improvements. Plan and provide End Users systems training.Enforce policies, procedures and standards e.g. Incident management and Change management within the team. Assist in managing planned/ad-hoc projects and ensuring cohesive team performance.Lead, coach and work with IT Service Desk staffs.Manage IT assets, software licenses, maintenance and inventory list in country.IT implementationFacilitate high level functional specifications discussion and participate system integration testing with Infrastructure and Application team.Attend to both hardware and software delivery requirement, liaise with IT vendors and manage procurement and implementation schedule.Support in Ad-hoc IT project deployment (migration, setting up new anti-virus software, change of equipment etc.)Install, support and maintain for IT software system such as Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online, Windows 10 etc.Provide training and demonstration and produce training and demonstration materials to business.Respond to customer and vendor enquiry and assist customer and vendor to resolve product and service issue.Capture and report enquiry and support requests.ProcurementMeet with business stakeholder managers to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans; comprehends the industry and the Marketplace.Engage with low-complexity IT vendors, negotiate pricing, request for quotation, manage and monitor IT vendor performance and delivery schedule.Liaise with IT team to prepare procurement documents for management review and approval.Coordinate with PO issuer to place purchase order to IT vendors for purchasing IT equipment.Liaise with requester to monitor delivery schedule and progress, coordinate with PO issuer to release payment on delivery.Pre-Requisites :Minimum 3-5 years of Microsoft server administration experienceExperience with server performance tuning, capacity planning and reporting desirable.Experience working with SCCM.Experience writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts.Practical experience troubleshooting operating system problems.Ability to review, plan or perform server builds, OS upgrades and apply fixes/patches.Good knowledge of other technologies used in IT infrastructure example, Data Centre, Windows, Mac OS, Virtualization/VMWare, Networks, SAN Storage, Back Up, DB and Middleware. Working experience with one or more of these highly desirable.Good working knowledge of infrastructure monitoring.Experience with SAN and NAS storage is an advantage.Good knowledge of network and server security best practices.Experience with network switches, proxy server, load balancers and firewalls desirableKnowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, S3, EC2, VMware) advantageous.Project Management experience is an advantage.Good working knowledge in Microsoft Technologies (Windows 8 /10, Office 365, Windows Server OS, SharePoint, Microsoft SQL, Office Suite)Experience with SAN and NAS storage is an advantage.Excellent communication and customer service skillsMust be a team player with positive attitude.Must enjoy and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAcademic QualificationMinimum Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering, computer science, or related technical field is required.Are you game?
