Blue Yonder Title:Senior Financial AnalystScope:Drive adherence to budget and forecast with opportunities and risk analysis and review and provide in depth analysis of actual performancePreparation of reporting, deliverables, and insights to leadershipDeep engagement with all levels of the organization to provide feedback, insights, and business direction to the Americas Professional Services leadership team.Our current technical environment:Microsoft Office Suite, Hyperion, Workday, SalesForce, UplandWhat you’ll do:Provide financial analysis for Americas Professional Services business by exercising an understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead in the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts and budgetsFinancial Modeling: Engage and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and scenario planning. Build decision support models around different parts of the P&L.Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.Performance Metrics: Awareness and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage to support decision making for senior management.Revenue Forecasting: Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models based on work plans and revenue recognition rules. Collaborate with Operations and Accounting teams to gather relevant information for forecasting, including sales pipelines, backlog, and contract review.Capacity Planning: Analyze costs and utilization to optimize capacity decisions related to labor mix and use.Headcount Approval and Management: Forecast and report out on headcount and requisitions for Professional Services organization.Business Partnering: Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to provide financial guidance, support decision-making, and ensure alignment with financial objectives. Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope including identifying, developing, and publishing meaningful business intelligence, metrics, analytics, and dashboardsReporting & Presentations: Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards that effectively track financial insights and recommendations.Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and efficiencies within financial planning and analysis procedures.Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support special projects, initiatives, and strategic decision-making.What we are looking for:Bachelor´s Degree (finance, business administration, etc)Proficiency in Excel and Financial systems user knowledge, ideally Hyperion/Workday.Demonstrate breadth financial planning & analysis and/or relevant accounting experienceExperience as a finance professional in a technology environment.An understanding of key processes and metrics of a successful Services organization would be advantageousAbility to work remotely in a fast-paced, ever-changing, growth environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet concurrent deadlines, organize time and priorities and work well as a member of a global team.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the company and globally.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts to the business.Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem- solving capability-------------------------------------------The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
