The goal of the Apple Services Engineering Machine Learning Lifecycle team is to take personalization, search, and more to the next level of intelligence and accuracy using advanced ML and statistical techniques. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Proficient programming skills in Python Hands-on experience working with deep learning toolkits such as Jax, Tensorflow or PyTorch Proven track record in training or deployment of large models or building large-scale distributed systems Deep understanding of Deep Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) Natural Language Processing Description Description We work on a wide spectrum of approaches, including foundation modeling, federated learning, deep learning, model compression, transfer learning and more. We work on core machine learning algorithms and models to power personalization in an efficient, scalable and private manner. We also work on algorithmic approaches to conserve resources when delivering these models to our customers' devices. This position involves a wide variety of skills and innovation. This is a rare opportunity that sits at the state of the art of machine learning and software! Education & Experience Education & Experience Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
