The Applied Machine Learning Data Science team is a group of innovative data scientists from diverse disciplines with extensive track records in both academia and industry. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 2+ years of industry experience designing algorithms, modeling, or conducting quantitative analysis, with experience in time series analysis being a plus 2+ years of industry experience in designing and developing scalable solutions, with a preference for proficiency in Python Solid grasp of concurrency and multi-threading, various design patterns, and robust debugging and analytical methodologies Self-directed and self-motivated with a detail-oriented approach, capable of devising good design proposals and thorough analysis of production issues Excellent written and oral communication skills, effective in both technical and non-technical contexts Description Description The Applied ML Data Science team is seeking a talented ML Engineer who excels in problem-solving and has a passion for innovation. We are instrumental in developing innovative ML models and, equally meaningful, you'll be the architect behind designing and developing robust, scalable solutions that operationalize these models for impactful real-world applications. We collaborate closely with other data scientists and engineers, translating complex ML model intricacies into operational, user-friendly services. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $208,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
