Through its market-leading cloud contact center solution, Genesys Cloud CX, Genesys unifies customer and agent experiences across phone, email, chat and social channels.Are you tired of wondering whether anyone uses the code you write?  Do you want to make an impact on every single customer?  The Genesys Cloud billing team is looking for someone like you.  We are looking for developers that want to make great lasting impressions of our product through billing and subscription management.As a developer of a central component of a large product such as Genesys Cloud, you can expect to interact with many other development teams, so strong communication skills are a must.  Billing might not sound difficult, but some calculations are harder than you might expect, so having a good understanding of algorithmic complexity is a plus.  And if you have ever been frustrated when you get a bill you don’t understand or don’t agree with, you will understand how critical it is to get our billing right, so attention to detail is very important.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop high quality, efficient, testable software to implement key product features.Bring features all the way through the Design, Test, Deploy, and Maintenance cycles.Understand the overall architecture of the system and the wider ecosystem.Actively participate in team code reviews and enhance overall team velocity.Act as a mentor to other members of the team. Coaching those lesser experienced to help grow them and reach their full potential.
