This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the prioritization, fulfillment, and quality assurance of time-bound ticket-driven requests for hardware and software, including shipping, receiving, transferring, storage, inspection, and delivery, within the Data Center, or digitally.ResponsibilitiesSupports the team with coordinating large customer deliveries and resolving shipping or receiving issues, keeping records/logs of all materialsCoordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination and acquires sign-off for receiptAdvises recipients on any updates regarding their ordered goods – Shipped, delayed, or deliveredReceives goods delivered to the Data Center either directly or following acceptance by securityMaintains records of all relevant details of all inbound/outbound shipments and ensures order requirements are fulfilledUses shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipmentsInspects received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items where vitalProactively works and communicates with internal/external customers to ensure timely deliveriesMay assist with resolving difficult shipping and receiving issuesFollows and aligns with established procedures on hazardous materials, requires supervision on new assignmentsTracks stored and/or abandoned equipmentAssists with delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages through the use of established proceduresWhen requested by a ticketing system request, assists with packing customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the Data CenterQualificationsA high school diploma+1 years of equivalent work experienceRegional hazardous materials certification preferredEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
