WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU:  We are seeking a collaborative and results-driven People Business Partner (HRBP/PBP) for the Retool. This position will report to the Head of People Experience.This will be a hybrid role located in the SF area, though consideration will be given to great candidates located in NYC. We really like spending time with each other in person and believe in the power of in-person collaboration, creativity, and connection so we have also returned in a hybrid capacity to our San Francisco/New York offices 3 days a week.  We are an amazing People Experience team that love to get things done, while having fun doing it and delivering excellence to our clients. We are looking for our first PBP (ideally with some GTM experience, but not essential) to help us co-create an excellent Retool environment. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: Serve as a trusted adviser to internal stakeholders by developing solid relationships at all levels. Provides advice and counsel on a broad range of HR issues and challenges faced by multiple levels of managers and executives. Strong drive to create a positive Retool People Experience Enhances the abilities of leaders with regards to talent and organizational effectiveness, t, promoting proactive and strategic thought processes Analyzes trends and metrics to recommend solutions, programs, and policies. Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, reinforce high performance culture, and increase productivity and retention Work in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions Maintain excellent internal customer service focus Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING: 3-5+ years of People/HR experience  Strong written and verbal communication skills Previous experience working with spreadsheets, HRIS systems, Culture Amp preferred Ability to offer solutions to leaders and teams while towing the line of company and employee Flexibility, a great attitude and follow through approach Retool offers generous benefits to all employees.
