The People team is growing and is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior People Ops Generalist to ensure the People Operations tasks run smoothly. As a Senior People Ops Generalist specializing in Benefits Administration, Compliance, and Immigration, you will take on a multifaceted role to ensure the smooth functioning of HR operations. This position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in benefits administration, payroll processing, HRIS management, and a comprehensive understanding of immigration regulations You Will be responsible for: Benefits Administration: Oversee the end-to-end administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits. Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations. Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Manage end to end employee leave of absences Payroll Processing: Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll transactions and address any discrepancies. Ensure correct details regarding leaves, terminations, payroll changes are captured in a timely manner. Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations, and implement necessary adjustments. Immigration Compliance: Serve as the point of contact for immigration-related matters, including visa sponsorships, work permits, and green card applications. Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations. Manage the immigration documentation process for foreign national employees. HRIS Management: Oversee the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, system updates, and user training. Generate custom reports and analytics to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve any HRIS issues. Compliance: Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and practices align with legal requirements and industry best practices. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance in areas such as I-9 forms, employee classifications, and record-keeping. Employee Relations: Provide support to HRBP in resolving employee relations issues related to benefits, payroll, and HRIS matters. Collaborate with HRBP to address employee concerns and implement solutions. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the HR function. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in benefits administration, payroll processing, and HRIS management. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and IT, to ensure a coordinated approach to HR functions. Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to optimize benefits offerings and compliance initiatives. You have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR with a focus on benefits administration, payroll, and compliance. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations. Experience with HRIS platforms. 2 years of working on ADP is a huge plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Additional Job details The base salary range for this position is $115k - $135k annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing.
