The company is working on accelerating its next phase of growth through use case based solutions and solutions specific GTM motions. It is in the process of co-building solutions with its customers. It is looking for a technical product leader to drive rapid prototyping with customers and develop the repeatable and scalable solution
You will report to the VP of Solutions. This is a remote eligible position and you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
Key success outcomes:
Repeatable and scalable solution co-built with pilot customers
Vision and alignment of full solution product roadmap
Major/critical aspect of the solution co-built (e.g., solution portability, enterprise grade integrations, UI/UX, templates) and ready for scale up
2 “referenceable customers” established with deployed solution and a proven value proposition
You Will:
Develop vision and the roadmap for the solution in collaboration with pilot customers
Collaborate with and lead customer resources to test and refine vision and develop/align solution product roadmap
Prioritize (based on value unlock) and align with customer and internal leadership on what to build in the MVP phase
Conduct rapid customer prototyping for the solution
Lead engineering capacity to quickly build Alpha solution, test it with the customer and refine/evolve the MVP
Work with the core product lead to align on architecture pattern and provide customer signal/input for the development of solution roadmap to successfully return Alpha customers to core product lifecycle via our corporate product roadmap
Work with Customer Outcomes Journey (COJ) team to apply and evolve the solution value architecture, and the value realization motions
Work with marketing to curate customer evidence, develop customer transformation story and help bring to the market
Work with presales to develop and showcase use case specific solutions experiences (e.g., templates, integrations, UI/UX) for top accounts
You Have:
10+ years of experience in product development, B2B SaaS and/or solution development; Some consulting experience is preferred
Highly preferred to have technical/engineering experience
3+ years of experience interacting with customer executives and stakeholders
Proven experience of building scalable products/solutions
Entrepreneurial, start up attitude, plus passionate drive and extraordinarily ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and executives
Business acumen with a deep understanding of enterprise buyers, digital transformation at enterprises and strategic agenda of enterprise companies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally within the organization, and to influence and collaborate with senior executives, stakeholders, and partners.
Bachelors in Computer Science required; MBA preferred

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. California & New York: $210,600 to $286,200 | All other US States: $195,000 to $265,000
