ABOUT THE TEAM
As Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for our Workflow and Integrations team, you will grow our business by building and maintaining tools that help Mural users to collaborate on a whole new level. You’ll be responsible for delivering quality code, coaching fellow engineers, and ensuring we adhere to standard methodologies in the Software Development Process.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Implement automated unit and integration tests and ensure the practice is followed consistently

Work closely with the product and design teams
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Collaborate with fellow engineers within and outside the team, along with architects and SREs, to ensure we deliver a feature with quality built in at every stage
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
5+ years of experience building applications and services, preferably using web application development frameworks and tools such as React
Strong technical skills and proven experience with Javascript/Typescript development
Strong background leading the development and delivery of a large feature for a SaaS product
Experience in crafting and developing web services using REST and JSON
Experience with NoSQL document-based data stores like MongoDB and designing suitable data models
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including knowledge of best practices and standards
Experience and willingness to mentor other engineers
Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge of software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
Ability to work independently from remote locations
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with cloud-based services such as Microsoft Azure
Experience with iPaaS platform such as Paragon or Warkato
Experience with containerization and deployment tools
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cucumber and Jest
Experience working on a platform engineering team or on app integrations is a huge plus
For roles based in New York City, California, Colorado, and Washington, the base salary for this role ranges from $154,000 - $173,300 + equity + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation.
