What you'll do The Senior Director, Business Development will be responsible for the growth of DV’s global distribution and coverage of services on Social and emerging platforms. DV’s advertiser and agency customers use DV’s targeting and measurement services across a series of social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Snap, Pinterest, etc.) and emerging platforms. The Senior Director, Business Development will be responsible for the revenue growth and management of select platform partnerships, driving deeper integrations and greater usage of DV’s existing and future services. You will also identify new opportunities to license DV data directly to the partner in order to help the partner create a higher quality media offering and environment. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must: demonstrate strong analytical skills and technical competency by seamlessly interfacing with Business Development, Product and Commercial contacts at the partner companies. think both tactically and strategically, able to help shape and execute DV’s partnership strategy with Social and emerging platforms be effective navigating a large organization, successfully building relationships across hierarchical levels from executive to field level have a strong understanding of the role third-party data plays in the revenue organizations of these Social and emerging partners serve as DV’s advocate from a commercial and technical perspective, requiring a functional understanding of the integration and the ability articulate DV’s needs with the partner be comfortable with cold outreach in order to generate relationships and build partnerships and account plans from scratch be a strong presenter, including presenting to large groups and participating on industry panels Primary Job Responsibilities Work with VP, Business Development to continuously develop and refine partnership strategy Build strong relationships on multiple levels at each of the partner companies Maintain current licensing deals with platforms and identify opportunities for expanded revenue growth of these partnerships. Identify new revenue streams through new licensing deals with prospective partners Partner with DV Product leadership to effectively advocate for DV needs Maintain close contact with DV Sales and Client Services in order to effectively drive new usage of DV services and to understand client needs related to Social and emerging platform availability Identify partnership gaps (with existing and new partners) and effectively close deals that solve for those gaps Ability to navigate complex contractual agreements and advocate for DV terms Maintain DV’s leadership in Social and CTV distribution and coverage Minimum Qualifications 10+ years of demonstrated excellence in business development or partnership roles Strong understanding of advertising technology, verification services, streaming video/CTV, and programmatic environments Deep knowledge of Social platform ecosystem, with strong preference for experience working at or directly with those partners Skilled in establishing trusted relationships, navigating a large partner organization, and driving strategic deals to a close under a tight timeline Experience, familiarity and comfort partnering with product teams to jointly drive efforts forward Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (MBA preferred) The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $122,000 - $230,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
